Well, to eliminate the variable, could you please install 2.5.0_rc1 on your system. You should be able to downgrade successfully by just running the older installer.

My hunch is that you'll still see the problem. Not much changed between rc1 and the final release except the handful of issues found by users on the list (which had nothing to do with OpenGL).

Please file a bug at http://bugreport.apple.com , and let me know the number, so I can add myself to the CC list.

Hi guys

I'm having a problem with idl 7.1 and XQuartz 2.5.0: When using color indexed image objects (in a 24 bit window) I get a black-gray- white image (that is ignoring the color lookup table).

This was working well under 10.6.2 and 2.5.0_rc1.

I'm convinced that this is may be a 10.6.3 related problem, because when I launch X11.app instead the problem persists. Also, If I disable OpenGL, the color comes back.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance,
Ricardo
