Is X11 64bit on 10.6.7?

Hi,

I'm going to buy a machine with 10.6.7, and I need to compile some X11 applications in 64bit. I've read that X11 wasn't ported to 64bit on SnowLeopard. Is that true?

Supposing I already installed XCode, what other packages do I need to install in order to be able to compile (and run) 64 bit executables of X11 applications?
