No, it's not vulnerable to remote root exploit. It is vulnerable to arbitrary execution as the user, but not root escalation. Furthermore, the default configuration (using quartz-wm) is not vulnerable. Users of gnome, kde, etc, will want to update xrdb. I'll be releasing 2.6.1_beta1 with the fix for SL in the next few days.
