Apologies if this is a FAQ, but I've Google high and low without
success.
How do I make XQuartz react on the common Xserver command line options?
>From "man XQuartz"
OPTIONS
In addition to the normal server options described in the
Xserver(1) manual page, Xquartz accepts ...
... which claims that it should be possible to do things like ":8" or
"-wr", or even "-retro". The option strings seem to be there in
/Applications/Utilities/XQuartz.app/Contents/MacOS/X11.bin
but when I run that program from the command line with said arguments,
they take no effect.
Guidance, please! :-) (RTFM pointer is fine. ;-)
Platform: MacBook Pro (13") with MacOS X 6.7 and XQuartz 2.7.1_rc1, and
iMac (27") with MacOS X 6.8 and XQuartz 2.7.1_rc1.
Cheers,
/Liman
