I've just uploaded 2.7.2_rc3 for testing. As far as I know, this version is very solid. All blockers and regressions have been fixed. If there are no new issues reported, I intend to release this as 2.7.2 in about a week, so please hammer it.
The main changes since rc2 are a fix for a race condition at startup that affected VMWare users and further changes to GLX to address a regression introduced in rc2.
