Yep. I mentioned wine in the announcement because that is what everyone has been complaining about. If I had just said GLX, people would probably ask if that fixed "the wine issue" ... sorry for not being more precise.

I have a hard time believing that there's suddenly a second issue with 10.8.2 and OpenGL in X11 that results in the X server locking up. (That's a pretty distinctive symptom. You might expect a server crash, a client crash, client failure due to an error reply to an X request, etc.)
Yep, the backtrace in the OP is from mieqEnqueue reporting that it is unable to enqueue the next input event and is thus dropping it on the floor. This is because the main thread is blocked and not draining the input queue. A few lines above the backtrace in the log, it explains this.
