So, recently, I upgraded to Mountain Lion. Then I ran X11, and it
had me upgrade to 2.7.3. Then, I started using things as usual, and
things seemeed to go ok, but noww every so often there are sticky
letters -- I hit the keyboaaard like I always have, but certain
letters or spaces or characters end up "stuck" in the sense that
they get repeated.
I see this too. On Lion and with 2.7.2 as well as 2.7.3.
I have been able to consistently cause keys to repeat for many versions
by calling up Launchbar/Quicksilver (no dock icon mode) then quickly
hitting a key before Launchbar grabs the keyboard focus. I always
assumed XQuartz does not receive the key up event because the system
grabs focus during the keypress. It's not clear that this is the same
issue, but perhaps this anecdote will be helpful.
