Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone has success using X11's (version 2.7.4 from
MacOSForge) full screen mode with an external monitor that is
configured as the primary display. When an X app requests "changing
the resolution" for RandR and I press yes, the resolution will be
changed to 640x480 (my external monitor is configured to run at
1400x1050) and the full screen mode toggle key (Command-Option-A) will
be disabled. Sometimes the screen will just turn black and if this
happens I have no option but to power down my Mac and lose work.
I wonder if anyone has seen something like this before and if so what
(other than remembering to not allow full screen mode) can be done to
prevent this. Thanks very much.
PS: I think it's a good idea to add an option "Never authorize" to the
dialog box. Why do we have "Always authorize" but not "Never
authorize" if there is a possibility for full screen mode to put the
Mac into an unusable state?
