Jeremy,
I've just upgraded to Mavericks and XQuartz 2.7.5. When the "Allow
connections from network clients" is checked, what's the recommended way
to find out what port the X server is listening on, or put another way,
what the network-accessible DISPLAY string is?
xdpyinfo seems to give no useful information. I had to run "netstat -a
-n" and guess that the app listening on port 6002 was the X server.
Hello
Excuse me, since this not an answer to your question, but why do you want to
have the Xserver accessible on the network?
Maybe it is a private network and he needs access to some applications
that do not work through command line.
Have a nice day.

Trond.
