Right click in Eclipse

I am running Eclipse on Ubuntu Linux, displaying back to my MacBookPro, running OSX 10.9.5.

Right clicking on the project in Eclipse should bring up a menu.  Tapping with two fingers works every other place, but not in Eclipse.  The window blinks and the menu does not come up.  Plugging a USB mouse in and right clicking brings up that menu.  Why doesn't 2 finger tapping work here?
