Damaged Keymap after launch xfce4-session

Hi,
after I log in on the remote machine (Debian 8), I want to start the xfce4 desktop environment. Everything seems to work fine, but when I open a texteditor/shell the complete keymap is damaged with strange text output each time I press a key.

Without using the desktop environment, I can launch any GUI application without troubles.

I have also tried to execute xmodmap <local host keymap file>, but this did not help.

Any suggestions?

Mic
