Yeah, but what is the problem exactly? It doesnt seem exclusive to X11.

What bug am I supposed to file exactly?

You can goto http://bugreport.apple.com and report the problem to Apple.

I have no control over that. Please file a radar at http://bugreport.apple.com

Will that be worked out by the time 10.13 is released?

Yeah, there's a bug with APFS. If you need X11, don't update to APFS right
now... =/

Hi all,

I have upgraded to macOS 10.13 beta and xquartz has stopped working. When
openingg xterm from a terminal (other applications fail simirarly), I get this
error:

X Error of failed request: BadName (named color or font does not exist)
Major opcode of failed request: 45 (X_OpenFont)
Serial number of failed request: 10
Current serial number in output stream: 12

Does anyone have an idea of what might cause this issue?

By the way, I am using quartz 2.7.11 (xors-server 1.18.4) on macOS High Sierra
10.13 Beta (17A306f).

Best,
Emanuele
