Does xcodebuild -buildstyle work?

  • Subject: Does xcodebuild -buildstyle work?

Hi,

Using XCode 1.0.1, it seems to me that the buildstyle flag is
being ignored when I do something like:

xcodebuild -target mytarget -buildstyle Deployment

It looks like the Active build style is always used, regardless
of the flag setting.
Has anybody else found this, and/or have a workaround
for it?

It's ok for a small number of projects to manually set the
active style, but checking out a large number of projects
during an automated build is problematic, as the active
build style doesn't seem to be saved in the project.pbxproj
file and I'd prefer not to have to pollute the repository
with user specific build preference files...

Thanks in advance,
 Rob.
