Scrooge and ZeroLink

  • Subject: Scrooge and ZeroLink

Seeing as the festive season is approaching, I think my mac is trying to act out the miser parable by not giving me compilation. There I was, ready to feed it mince pies (its favourite) when I saw this in the background (Xcode):

ZeroLink: unknown symbol '_OpenSSL_add_all_algorithms'

But I have included 'libssl.0.9.7.dylib' sire! Libmysql needs it.

"Bugger off" says my Mac, in Bruce High Quality voice. Even after I switched ZeroLink off. Threatening it with a double-barrel or (worse still) installing it in the Micro$oft offices did not convince it otherwise.

Thing is, if I include the libraries and copy the source code from the fresh Xcode project and paste it into a converted PB project, it works.

The ghost of developer tools past.

Regards, Jose.
