Thomas,

I created a copy of the Sketch example project and opened one of the implementation files. I selected the word "self" and used the contextual menu item "Find Selected Text in Project". Xcode 1.1 created a Find smart group in the Groups & Files pane of the project window, selected it, and listed all instances of self with Context and Location in the detail pane. Double clicking any of those lines will open the appropriate file/instance of self in a text editing window, or alternatively clicking the option to open an editor pane in the project window and single clicking will take me to the specific instance of self I clicked on.

What about this behavior is not what you expect? What would you prefer?

Godfrey

Am I overlooking something? When I use the contextual menu "Find selected text in project", the results are not displayed anymore in the project window (they used to be in XCode 1.0), so I have to crawl to the find results group do get them.
