build hang in new "CD" version

I upgraded first to Is Xcode 1.1 update and then to Xcode 1.1 install.
Now I am hanging a lot during builds. I tried cleaning and
re-indexing, but the problem remains. The problem usually comes about
when I edit files that are being built. I know this is asking for
trouble but Xcode is no longer beta and should be able to handle this.
What is frustrating is that once the build hangs, you cannot kill it
with the red stop sign. It just ignores your request. If you try to
quit, you get the dialog asking if you want to kill the build, and if
you say yes, you get the dialog asking if you want to kill the
build,... The only way to get out of it is to kill Xcode, which, alas,
will cause all the editing you were trying sneak in to be lost.
Is this happening to anyone else? I don't have the time to isolate
this problem enough to file a meaningful bug report.
