Xcode 1.1 lives

Well, I fired up the old DVD burner, backed up everything, and re-installed panther clean with new Xcode "CD" and all the various updates from Software Update. Now all the mystery build crashes have gone away, not to mention the fatal Xcode launch error. So, the moral is, well... is there a moral here?
