dependent projects and build styles - any relationship?

  • Subject: dependent projects and build styles - any relationship?

Is there any relationship between the active build style in the master project and the one that is used when dependent projects are built?

Is the only way to ensure that the build styles are consistent (before say doing a release build) to manually open up the projects and set them?

(I'm not even sure how it should work - since build style names can be arbitrary and there is no guarantee that all of the projects will have similarly named styles, except by convention.)

Thanks,
Jim
