Remember, this isn't Microsoft. If they didn't fix a bug, chances are
they never noticed it! :) That is why Apple has a bug reporting facility
they actually respond to. Granted it may take them a while as they are not
going to release Xcode 1.2 just to fix a warning that we can fix ourselves.
They will wait and roll it into the next scheduled release. I personally
would rather fix things like this myself rather than download updates every
few days when there is a good chance I don't even suffer from the problem it
fixes (such as this one, I do not).
I enjoy Xcode and value the work the people at Apple have and are
continuing to put into making it better. As a developer have you never
missed anything like this and then smacked your head and said "d'oh!" as
soon as it was pointed out to you? (If any of you can answer "no" I question
how much programming you actually do!) Even though these guys are paid I am
sure they get just as frustrated and feel just as stupid as the rest of us
when they miss something simple like this. For something as trivial as a
compiler warning because of 5 missing characters, this thread should have
died long ago with the first response saying how to fix it and the response
saying a bug report had been filed.
