Why doesn't gcc 3.3 like '????'

  • Subject: Why doesn't gcc 3.3 like '????'

Subject says it all ... Xcode (I assume it's really gcc 3.3) throws up and error when I use '????'. Anything else is fine (example 'PNGf'). Is this a gcc bug or something new I don't know about, and what's the way around this (other than putting in 0x3F3F3F3F :) )
