Getting values of settings with AppleScript

  • Subject: Getting values of settings with AppleScript

Hi all,
I'm writing an XCode plugin with applescript. For example, I need to get the value of the 'precompiled files folder', however I get back something like "$(TEMP_DIR)/PrefixHeaders". How can I get the interpolated value, i.e. the value of $(TEMP_DIR)?

Thank you in advance
