xcodebuild ignores -buildstyle

  • Subject: xcodebuild ignores -buildstyle

I'm seeing an issue using the command line xcodebuild where I specify -buildstyle Deployment and it completely ignores it building the active build style. Most of the time, the active build style is development, so everything gets zero linked and doesn't run on other machines.

Is this a known issue? Is there a workaround? I have a Makefile which builds 6 different components of an app using xcodebuild and not being able to build Deployment is a big issue.

Thanks.
