Code competition problem

Hi,
I wonder if anyone saw such problem:
I'm working with big project and code competition is very slow (1.25GHz G4).
The problem is that I cannot turn it off. I've disabled it in XCode preferences,
but it is still does it, when I'm typing. Rebuilding index did not help.

Project was converted from PB, and uses Perforce source control via the XCode.
Any suggestion? Slow editing is just driving me crazy.
