Does the build results window (shift-cmd-B) show anything?
Something must be messed up with my Xcode at work. Here at home,
shift-cmd-B does bring up the extra details, but at work, that window
didn't show anything. I'll re-install things tomorrow and report a
bug if I can reproduce it.
I think this may be a generic Xcode bug. The build results, or rather
the "Build Warnings and Errors" window, doesn't seem to have a "global"
association. What I mean is that you can initiate a build from multiple
(at least two) windows: the main project window or the "Errors and
Warnings" window (not to be confused with the "Build Warnings and
Errors" window). And you have to show the "Build Warnings and Errors"
window *from* the window that initiated the build in order to see the
results. It's extremely confusing and I may not have explained it quite
correctly, as even I'm not sure exactly what/why is happening.
Anyway, I doubt your Xcode is messed up. It's probably just that you're
trying to show the "Build Warnings and Errors" window from the "wrong"
location, and what you end up with is a blank window.
