why is code sense that slow?
Not slow for me...
Too slow for me too (Dual 867MHz PowerMac G4).
But works fine for me (Dual 1.42GHZ PowerMac G4). Not even noticeably
sluggish. Perhaps it is a CPU speed thing, but I would have expected
it to still feel slow even given the extra 600MHz.
Are you running any unusual software (haxies and the like)?
No, no haxies at the moment.
Is your disk thrashing?
No.
(How much RAM have you got?
768MB
How much is free?)
I don't know how much it was then. Probably not so much. But no
thrashing.
Have you reconfigured code completion at all?
No, I didn't touch the default configuration at all. I just turned it
off, because it slowed down my work and it had at least one annoying
error: It always added "..." at the end of a "@class" command. I do
agree, that probably I could have done something about that error, but
because it was already too slow, I didn't dig after that.
Perhaps I should give it another try.
