This is most likely a Finder bug. When I copied a new source file from one
directory to another using Terminal and I try to add the new file to the
project, XCode is unable to see the file. An easy workaround is to change the
view of the save dialog from directory to columns so that Finder refreshes.
But, if all the source files are added to the project, the directory is greyed
out and I have to restart Xcode in order for it to recognize the new file.
This is strangely similar to the behaviour described in the Ars Technica review
<http://www.arstechnica.com/reviews/003/panther/macosx-10.3-10.html>. If the
Finder bug cannot refresh the file view properly, the at least don't grey out
the folder if you "think" there are no new files to add to the project.
