why is code sense that slow?

Not slow for me...

Too slow for me too (Dual 867MHz PowerMac G4).

Too slow for me too! (even on a 1GHZ G4 with 1GB RAM).

I removed code sense from the preferences and I'm back to the fast, traditional, effective escape completion of shells and the old PB. I also changed alt-escape to escape in my bindings.

It may be wise for use developers to give sampling xCode a shot if you have slow code completion issues. If you find a sensible and consistent source for it in the sample traces file a bug with Apple. I bet they would love to have it zip around for all of us (like I said I haven't seen issues myself).
