Well I fixed the problem and it might be useful to record the solution
in the archives.
I simply changed the Cross-develop SDK option from 10.2.7 to 10.3 and
then back to 10.2.7. Now the projects link just fine! (The SDK option
can be found in the General tab of the Project Inspector).
Cheers

I erased my hard drive yesterday, installed 10.3, and returned the
backed up files to my home directory. When setting up 10.3 I
inadvertently made my shortname different to what it was previously.
Now my Xcode projects generate a single warning message when linking:
"ld: warning -L: directory name (/Users/dale/Documents/MyApp) does not
exist".
I've cleaned the project, checked hi and low thru Xcode's preferences,
checked the Xcode/Tools Help, and looked at the Inspector panel for
every project file and have not found a setting that tells the linker
what the correct path is. That is, my shortname is no longer "dale" but
"dalegillard", so it should be looking for
</Users/dalegillard/Documents/MyApp>.
Does anyone have a clue where to find this setting in Xcode?
Thanks.
