GDB Error: No symbol table is loaded

Hi,
I'm a french beginner of xcode building. I'm using for the first time Xcode (instead of Project Builder), and when I try debugging, although the item "generate debugging symbol" is checked, I have the following error message:

	GDB Error: No symbol table is loaded. Use the "file" command.

Could anyone help me?
