Peter,
Plug-in extensibility is an often-requested feature enhancement for
Xcode. It's not there yet, but the Xcode team is working on the
problem.
Plug-in extensiblity can be used for many different types of things so
we are listening to what kinds of extensibility are most often
requested in order to prioritize the implementation and delivery of the
feature.
