creating a Framework

I have collection of related files *.[hm] that I want to turn into a personal framework.
I would like to compile a Foundation based tool by invoking

      cc appFile.c -framework Foundation -framework MyFramework

Can someone explain how to accomplish this or where I can read for myself?
