Xcode and CVS

  • Subject: Xcode and CVS

Hello,

I'm having some real problems working with Xcode and CVS. Before upgrading to Panther, I had been using Project Builder with CVS. Xcode can get to the repository okay and it will display status for files. The problem I am having is that I've added files to the project and the commited them to the repository; now the actual project itself has an "M" in the SCM column, indicating that I have to commit the changes to the project itself. However, there doesn't appear to be a menu option to do this, "Commit Changes" under the SCM menu is grayed out when the project is selected.

In Project Builder, you would add the file to the project, add it to CVS, commit your change, and then commit changes for the project.

Has anyone else had problems with Xcode and SCM integration? I think I must be missing something but I don't know what it might be.

Thank You,
-- Miles
