Yes, Transmit works wonderfully for getting all the segments. I do it all the time.


The segments are a vast improvement over a single image for one reason: when the servers are overloaded (like the first 24 hours after a new panther seed ;), then if you lose the connection, you don't have to redownload the entire image again (because resume does not seem to work).

They used to post both a single image and segments which was best: if I knew traffic was probably low I could just grab the single image.
