rephrasing my question:

my project is connected to CVS, I can add, modify and commit files just
fine.

every time when I update my files, or add new files - they show up in the
pending commit in the SCM section of Groups and Files.

when I update nib files with Interface Builder and save, nib files do not
show up in the SCM group (mentioned above).

when I proceed with commit, everything but nib files get submitted to CVS
repository.

if I remove folder with my project and check it out, then load in Xcode and
execute - no changes to nibs (UI changes) persist from previous session.

has anyone else experiencing this behavior and knows of how to fix the
problem?

thanks for your help in advance.
