This article:

http://www.internetnews.com/dev-news/article.php/3335591

states:

"The company said it has seen a large number of UNIX, Java and Open Source developers migrating to its Mac OS X operating system."

and:

"We're adding to our tools space including an update of our Xcode development tool."

Although not explicitly stated, I hope that the inclusion of "Java" in the first quote and "Xcode" in the second, implies that the next release of Xcode will start to show some significant improvements in Xcode's Java support. Yes, I know that representatives of Apple have stated on this list that the Apple Xcode team are focusing more resources on Xcode's Java support. But it's nice to see an article implying that this might happen soon (June's WWDC).

I am soooo tired of people bitching about Xcode and Java. I *like* Xcode and I'm looking forward to the day when it supports Java as well as, or at least closer to, some Java-only IDE's out there, while still maintaining the high quality interface and usability that it currently has (in my opinion, of course).

Rob
