Hello,
There is a weird hang-up crash that keep happening to me with xcode and
predictive compile (or some marketing buzz word like).
What it is?
Well, I'm doing usual stuff like writing code and when I'm hitting the
build and run button the compiler/linker/xcode hangs on a
compiling/linking/building phase. When I press cancel, nothing
happens. It is still hanged up. I have to force quit xcode and hit
build and run once more to make it work.
As you have guessed... It is very annoying.
I tried many times to check what are the precise steps to have this
problem and it turns out that when you hit build before the predictive
compilation returns (or whatever it does, indexing, parsing, compiling)
you are 75% sure to hang.
Perhaps no one at Apple had this problem (yes I have a old iBook 700),
but since xcode tends to crash sometimes, I would like not to have to
force quit it too :-)
Thank you, I feel relieved :)
