Yes, the Xcode environment includes the standard Unix assembler, as, which processes assembly code (".s") files.


You can also embed assembly code in C or C++ source files, and the gcc compiler will pass it through to the assembler.

Apple's version of gss supports both gcc-style asm and CodeWarrior-style asm formats.
