XCode Debugger has general problems

  • Subject: XCode Debugger has general problems

Gentlemen,

I've only been using XCode for about 6 months, and strictly for pure
Java development. 1.1 is slightly better than 1.0, but the debugger is
still a major weak point. It crashes & mis-behaves for me generally
when I am inspecting values and "drilling down" a chain of related
objects.

My point is that the Objective C++ and Cocoa etc. developers on this
list also have issues with the debugger. As the old saying goes "50
million French men can't be wrong." The debugger is, well.... buggy.
I am PRAYING that the Cupertino crowd will demonstrate their
superiority over the Redmond crowd: they'll fix bugs before they pile
on new features.

But, Dear Apple List Monitor, the bottom line is: I still use it
every day
