Building with 2 concurrent tasks generating errors?

  • Subject: Building with 2 concurrent tasks generating errors?

I have recently been building several of my companies projects using XCode, which worked fine using 2 concurrent tasks on my dual G5. However, there is 1 project where running 2 concurrent tasks for building it generates thousands of errors, locking up XCode for several minutes. It seems that XCode is precompiling the header file twice (once for each process). Reverting to 1 concurrent task fixes the problem, although I would like to use both processors (distributed builds are turned off BTW).

I am currently downloading the XCode 1.2 update, but has anyone else seen this? I'll file a bug if if I can verify it with 1.2 (along with several others like "Open in separate editor" consistently crashing XCode).
