I think he means he'd like to have it so the project window (the window
for the .xcode itself) and be made less wide, showing only the "Groups &
Files" pane and not all the other stuff to the right. IOW, make it more
like CodeWarrior's project window. XCode 1.5 does not let you resize it
as narrowly as 1.2 allowed.

Yep. I bugged about this during 1.5 beta. But see this "Known Issue" in the Read Me:

"The ability to view the Project tree independent of the detail view in the Xcode Project Window is no longer supported in Xcode 1.5. These needs will be supported in a future release. "

And, maybe I'm missing it, but this issue doesn't appear to be listed in the Xcode release notes, only the ADC Read Me. Actually, several issues. I guess the Read Me is the last-second notes.

Furthermore, this behavior is inconsistent. You can't drag the divider between the groups & files / details all the way in either direction-- it prevents you-- but, if you double click it, it collapses to hide the groups & files. Huh? Other than fixing the overlap problem with the status bar progress bar in 1.2, I don't see any reason for limiting the resize like this?

There are several other "who tested this?!" UI issues new to 1.5 (yes, bugs logged) but I'll shut up now and get back to coding. The fixes and features added to 1.5 are good, anyway.
