So Xcode 1.5 is available, is it? Not for those of us with a dialup
connection and a 2-hour timeout. So here's my first question - why the
f--- does Apple bother with segments? For people with a fast
connection, they're a pointless irritation; whereas for people with a
slow dialup (me), they're too big to download before the timeout. On a
good day I can download about 22 MB within my 2-hour limit. And make
that a 1 hr 50 min limit when you allow for the time wasted hunting for
a server which isn't overloaded. Which leads to my second question: How
come resumable downloading is STILL beyond the wit of Apple's
engineers?
