I found out what was causing me so much heartburn with
code sense. The Xcode menu preferences (i.e. global
Xcode prefs) don't propogate to the individual project
preferences. I had assumed that checking them would
show up in my projects and they don't or at least they
don't override an old projects settings. ANyway, by
clicking on the project in groups& Files and selecting
the code sense tab I was able re-select everything and
it works.
