distcc stderr printouts

  • Subject: distcc stderr printouts

Hi,

I'm getting the following printf on stderr when building a distributed
build:

!err>distcc[29932] (dcc_handle_remote_indirection_request) ERROR:
Unable to compare checksums
!err>distccd[29938] ERROR: unlock failed: Bad file descriptor

I'm getting those repeatedly on random files and multiple machines. I
only see those when using the xcodebuild CLI. Other than the printouts
the build seems fine, it compiles link and run. Anybody else? Is it
something we can ignore ? Right now our build system reports this as a
build failure, making distributed build impossible. This started when
we upgraded to Xcode 1.5. Would that be an Xcode bug?

Thanks.

Bertrand.
