With any decent graphics card, you can just do what I do: Get a cheap
1024x768 VGA monitor [they are as low as $80 here in Ireland, about
$95] and hook it up, giving a dedicated window into either the split
build results and log, or whatever you think is important.  I find working
like this a great boon, even before 1.5, and my main display is only
a 17" Apple Studio [1280x1024] from a few years back.  Of course, if
you're constrained to a laptop with only video mirroring, that's not an
option      ;-(

I think everyone misses the old PB tabs, actually.

There is not, and never will be, such a thing as " enough " screen - just ask
any pro graphic designer who has Photoshop, InDesign and a 3D app
all open at the same time, 8 hours-a-day, as does my son !

What I DO find is that the Build Results window doesn't remain
key window after the build.  Now, that IS annoying .............
