How to make a simple Project Template

Does anyone know of a basic resource on how to define a simple Project Template for XCode 1.5?

I would like to define a template for ActionScript written web applications that basically just includes my basic framework or directories and base class files as well as couple of xml files and a shell Fla.

Is there a simple way to define such a Template and have it open a stipped down project window without all the unnecessary stuff like executables and documentation?

I have toyed around with duplicating one of the basic templates in /Library/Application Support/Apple/Developer/Project Templates/ and get close but always manage to screw it up a little.

Any suggestions (other than the Empty Project)?
