Error message: 'Could not find file... perhaps it was moved'???

  • Subject: Error message: 'Could not find file... perhaps it was moved'???

The full error message: "Could not find file /Users/dalegillard/Documents/MyApp Library/MyApp 1.2 Source. Perhaps it was moved or deleted?"

Does anyone know what this message might really be trying to tell me? Is there a way to fix the problem?

The above err msg appears in a sheet for less than 1 second as I quit Xcode, and close a specific project (MyApp.xcode) and no other project. This has only started happening in the last few days and nothing strange has occurred to the project as far as I can tell.

I had to take a screen shot to even read the err msg text before the project closed!

"MyApp Library" and "MyApp 1.2 Source" are just folders containing my project. The project was originally a Project Builder project converted to the new Xcode format and has been just fine since moving to 10.3/Xcode.

The project *is* being saved (actually the msg appears even if nothing needs saving), but I'm concerned nonetheless. I've cleaned and rebuilt the project, logged out/shut down and checked permissions are OK.

Dale
