Interesting.  Since I wrote this, I've had several more crashes, all of
them while I was searching through files.  Sometimes XCode slows down a
lot just before the crash, other times, it's a sudden crash.  I can't
tell if it is related to the number of searches done, or the number of
results returned; maybe a combination of the two?

Anyways, thanks for the reply.  Has anyone seen this and filed a bug
report on it?  If not, I'll go ahead and do so.
