How do I disable * as a shortcut to the "Open path in Text Edit" script? I would rather use that key to actually type an asterisk. I tried going into what seemed to be the script file in question and deleting what seemed to be the line that specified the shortcut, but it had no effect. Maybe it was the ProjectBuilder version that I found, in which case I have no idea where the XCode one is.

If you examine the script, you will see a comment header with curious ProjectBuilder-isms in it. One of the comments explicitly defines "*" as the key equivalent; probably, you can just strip that out and the menu key will go away.
