Thanks Godfrey.
Is there a tool I can use to make a .pdf of the entire XCode Help? I know it's tucked away in XCode.Contents..... but I sure would like it as a .pdf so that I can print it out all in one go and have it handy to read through. Online docs are great for referencing but not as convenient, at least for me, as sitting down and "reading the manual".

But then I enjoy reading manuals to get the big picture; probably a hangover from my mainframe days when it was a necessity<g>.

respect....

Peter,

From the Xcode Help:
"The build setting values in a build style have higher precedence than those in a target. If a build setting is assigned different values in the active build style and in the active target, the value in the build style overrides the value in the target. Xcode indicates this by crossing out settings that are overridden by the active build style. Build setting precedence is described further in Where Build Settings Are Set."

I did a full-text search on Target Build Settings in the Xcode Documentation window, under the Help menu.
