Creating gprof .order Files

  • Subject: Creating gprof .order Files

I'm trying to run gprof with the -S option to create the four .order files, but I get the following error message when I run gprof:

In producing order files can't find module name for functions (make sure all modules are compiled -g and the program is not already ordered)

I recompiled my program with the -g flag, but the same error message appears. What do I have to do to generate the .order files?

Mark
